Life & Health coverage, measured against reality

Find out if you're actually covered, or just think you are.

Fill in your numbers once. This tool runs them through two industry-standard methods, benchmarks you against national protection-gap data, and shows you exactly where a real claim could break your finances.

These feed both the Life and Health analysis below.

Two respected methodologies, side by side, because the "right" number changes depending on how you count it.

You don't need to close the whole gap with one giant policy. Layer a base policy, your employer's cover as a deductible, and a super top-up.

Run your existing health policy through these. A ₹1Cr policy with a room-rent cap can behave like a ₹40L policy when you actually claim.

Room rent cap flagged. This is the most dangerous hidden clause in health insurance. If your bill exceeds the room-rent cap, the insurer proportionally reduces every line item — surgery, medicines, ICU — not just the room charge. Illustratively, your stated — cover could behave like roughly — in practice. Ask your insurer for the exact proportionate-deduction clause.

Assumptions used: medical inflation 13% (industry range 12–14%, 2025–26), ROI 8% / general inflation 6% for life PV calculations — all adjustable above.
